Veterans

Well today I would like to thank all the veterans who have given their time and ability - and sometimes even their lives - to defend this great nation. Thank you! I am very grateful!

I am writing hard for NaNoWriMo! I am staying up to date and not getting behind! Thank you for all the support and well wishing I really appreciate that!

Rumors

There have been some rumors floating around that I have another blog that is separate from this one and more private.

These rumors are true.

I do have another blog. This one is a more personal blog and not something that will need to be read by those who are just checking to see if the IEC will be coming back (and it will be after NaNoWriMo). It is about my writing and personal life and things of this nature. If you stumble upon it feel free to read it. But please don't go around posting links to it.

I am asking this as the friend of everyperson who reads this blog or listens to the IEC. I am very happy with how things are moving forward right now and wish it to stay that way.

Things are moving full speed, actually faster, with NaNoWriMo being upon us and my line up for podcasting (I have adjusted the chapters around in Forced War which caused it to un podcastable until I finished it) in '10. The Ynel novel will be being podcasted next year as well. After NaNoWriMo is over I will be starting Blinding Dig so I can bring that to you.

The Information you receive here won't stop coming. My other blog is still new and it hasn't been around for long so I have not been neglecting this blog just because I've been posting in the other one.

I am surprised (though I shouldn't be) of how fast word got out that I have another blog.

News

OK, so there has been a lack of anything going on in the RB's Universe lately. Well there really is no excuse. I will be coming out with a new episode on the IEC feed soon. But it will have no story content. I am going to be placing it there as an apology and an update to let everyone know what is going on.

I have made a decision to stop season two until I have finished writing Forced War. When the book is done I will podcast it. The decision to do this happened when I made a decision to rearrange and split some chapter that I had already recorded.

Also I won't have much time during November to podcast seeing as how I am participating in NaNoWriMo again this year. I am writing the first book in the Ynel Series (tentatively titled Ynel) which will also be podcasted when it is finished. It may not have a feed. I'm not sure. We'll see.

But that is the news so far. If there are any changes you'll see them here.

IEC/Lost Falchion

Well I, the IEC and Lost Falchion are all brand new! I am back! The IEC is back and the Lost Falchion is out in print and soon to come out on Podiobooks.

I’m excited to announce that Lost Falchion is now out in Print! Go here to take a look at it. I am very happy for it to be out. You can see some reviews of it, one from Believable Blie and another from UR, and then pick up a copy. The book will be coming out on Podiobooks.com soon and there will also be a CD version Audiobook format available with extra content not available from the podcast.

To bring up the IEC, the podcast is back for a second season! You can go to ImonoranEmpire.mypodcast.com and start listening to Forced War today. The Podcast started its second season on Monday June 21st and the third episode of Season 2 will be out on the 20th of July. The Second season will run until Forced War is finished.

So now that I’m back from my break, the Contests that we were promoting earlier will be back up. I will have dates coming soon.

Time to say hi,

OK, so I really have to say hi to y'all. I know it's been a long time since I was actually active but I promise to start being active soon. I had to take a break because of exterior circumstances (e.g. a sociology class that was trying to eat me alive). But I'm back in the saddle. It's a great time to be right now, I have a lot of time on my hands as I try to set up the sale of novella and the on sight promotion (to my friends and family; if you would like to receive one of the promotional letters, as well as a flyer send your address to rbsuniverse@gmail.com). I'm also working on writing Forced War (about 20,000 words to go).

When the podcast starts back up you will get to hear the novel and more coming from me.

One Year of Blogging

This is my one year anniversary to the minute! I made sure and waited until like five minutes before the exact minute to write this that way it would come out at the exact minute as the first.

Thank you all for the support of me and my work over the last year. We got some amazing numbers on the IEC (Which will be coming back for a second season) and had some fun over the year.

So look for Lost Falchion coming out in print and the IEC starting back up and we'll see you again soon.

Long time no post!

OK everyone, I know I have been bad about updating since the beginning of the year. The Imonoran Empire Cast Season 2 is going relaunch on June 1st. We're going to be restarting the season from that point. Season 2 isn't up on the original site yet anyway so We'll be starting off with episode 200, Forced War Prologue, and continuing from there. Every two weeks an episode same format as before.

Thanks to all for your patience with me. I've been really, really busy and making some hard decisions lately. Yeah words really can't describe it. So thank you for sticking in there and I promise to be back!

Lost Falchion is getting ready to come out in print from Lulu.com as well. Right now I'm shooting for June 12th. Those dates are already up on the Google Calendar. I have been working really hard on Forced War and feel that I'm getting close to the end. It's going to finish up in the next 20-30 thousand words.

Then I will start on editing Blinding Dig, the next Imonoran Empire Novel and jump into the Ynel Project. Also all the contests will be relaunching on the same date as the IEC. So those signed copies of Lost Falchion will be up for grabs again!

More updates will be coming soon!

IEC Took January Off

Well the Imonoran Empire Cast took January off. With how busy I and the rest of the team were during the start of the Winter Term (College Life is... fun). We will be resuming with three consecutive episodes this next week. Episodes 203, 204 and 205 will be coming out on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (respectively).

News and Info

OK, so I have been pretty quiet about this because I've been wondering how to pull it off.

A couple of posts ago I released that we were going to have contest where you could win a signed manuscript (prerelease) of Lost Falchion. Well I have figured out how we are going to do this. To participate go to imonoranempire.mypodcast.com and download these episodes (if you have the first season don't worry!): 5, 6, 7, 8.5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 (NOT 8, BUT 8.5) and listen to Lost Falchion all the way through. You can also go here and read it online. Then at the end of the next four (4), that's right four (4), episodes of the Imonoran Empire Cast we will have a trivia question from the book. You will e-mail your answer to imonoranempire@gmail.com or call it in to 206-600-5178. Those who answer correctly will be entered into the contest. Then in episode 208.5 we will announce our randomly chosen winners.

Also I'm have some updates on the future episodes that will be coming out. We have our second annual IEC X-mas episode and our new years episode is going to be separate from the normal Progression this year. We also have (as seen above) my Birthday episode (which uncannily enough will be 8.5 this year).

Imperial Canvas

Jumping the League (Subject to Change)

Prologue

William Johansson was a famous man. He was famous because he had won the Kanoz playoffs, with the Crondorian Dragons, three years in a row. Right now he was sitting at a desk while a press conference conversed about what players the Dragons would try and pick up this season.

Johansson had a smug look on his face. He thought that anyone the coach picked wouldn’t be able to stand up to him. His ego was big enough to actually convince him that he was the only reason the team had won three years straight.

A question caught his ears o he focused in. The question was posed by a tall, blonde and beautiful reporter for the New Oregon Register Guard, a local paper. “Are you planning on trading William Johansson this season?”

Dragons Head Coach Geoffrey Li shook his head, “No we are keeping our star Forwarder, but we are dropping him down to second string for this season. “ Johansson’s face snapped up and to the left bringing a hateful gaze to bear on Coach Li. “We’re trading our second string Forwarder, Joshua Lanza, for the first string Forwarder, Gianza Queneth, of the New Maine Crabs.”

A man popped to his feet, the Coach nodded at him. “And you’re putting Queneth as first string over Johansson?” this man asked this as if it was the question that decided whether he lived or died.

The Coach nodded, “Yes we are.”

In a flash of movement Johansson jumped to his feet. The back of his knees shoving the chair back against the wall behind him and back into his calves. “Oh yeah?” he yelled at the head coach. “You want to drop me? We’ll see how long your team lasts!” He stomped off the raised stage and over to the door. He punched it as it tried to slide out of his way; the metal door dented from the impact of his hand stopped sliding. He kicked it denting it again, but it wouldn’t start sliding again. He pushed his way through the it and was gone.

All the sports reporters of the Imonoran Empire were busy either typing, talking into mics or writing/ Coach Li sighed. It was going to be a long, long season.
